He is such a good man who has led such a productive and good life. I wish him healing or, if that is not possible, a gentle transition from this world into eternity.

We all have to say goodbye one day.  President Carter is the quintessential definition of a life well lived.  A good, loving, decent man who tried every day to improve the lives of others long after his days in the oval office were over.  Nothing was "for show," it was all real, he dug in the mud with the rest of the team. 

 

He will be missed.  I hope his final days are peaceful.

At 90 years old, I can not think they would do a chemo protocol? As his years are numbered now anyway. I think chemo would just make the few years left miserable...maybe kill him sooner.  He should just live a full life and enjoy each moment of each day.

IMHO President Carter was the last honest man in the White House. God bless him.
