Gerry Marsden has passed away at age 78 from a brief illness from a heart infection.

R.I.P.

 

The British Invasion is dying off...😪

One of my favorite British groups along with The Dave Clark Five. Brings back memories. RIP, Gerry.

I was lucky enough to see Dave Clark 5 in their prime.  Gosh, they were a bunch of cuties!

 

That night, they all wore white pants and jackets and were opening for Chuck Berry.

 

It was Keil Auditorium in St. Louis...I was probably 14 and went with my sis.  So fun!  I still have their album, "Having a Wild Weekend."
