Hi Gadget_Lovers ![]()
I sought out a former effective, inexpensive Air Moisture Remover to see if this at least aids in getting rid of any musty scent or excess home humidity incl perhaps useful during all these Storms happening.
IT DOES HELP!
I've have used it presently & in a matter of days, it's obviously 5ucked out a lot of moisture in the air. I can see it captured in the bottom pocket of this hanging "gadget" envelope.
Hope This Helps (HTHs)!
" Vacplus Moisture Absorbers, Hanging Closet Dehumidifier Bags, Humidity Packs, Desiccant, Closet Dehumidifiers and Odor Eliminator with Fragrance Free for Fresher Air, 10 Pack, 9.8OZ "
($34, (Currently $22 for 10 pack (?Prime, or ?Sale Price?) Amz

Hi Gadget_Lovers ![]()
Ref: "Collapsible PULL CART" (LARGE/LID)
(the *RECOMMENDED* one above)
(this 2nd one in Pink)
Arrived already, & it's as wonderful (for me) as my same "American Flag" one (see my msg #98 above)
I forgot to mention, the Amer Flag Front, or (Pink Front), can unclip from the Front, and becomes a Seat, placed on top of the open Cart.
Also, I'd forgotten, inside the opened Cart, on the bottom, are 2 recessed guards that can be removed & fit along the open sides of this cart, further stabilizing the open cart, (not that it even needs it).
Also, this particular Cart comes with a short bungee cord.
Luv'n it! One kept in Car, 1 kept in Home.
Well, well worth, IMHO, even for this Full Price I now paid for this 2nd one. (1st one I purchased was quite reduced on Amz Prime Day!)
Enjoy!

Not sure which of the above categories this falls into, but in this area, these following (esp Mailbox) coupons are honored regardless of Expiration Dates! And the money saved can be significant, imho.
Worth a try!
(added) I've also heard that ordering by some, by APP can be money saved also.
Subway Subs
Popeye's
Pizza Hut
Hardees
any others you might know of?

@monicakm wrote:These are not new to me but they might be to others here. Smart plugs. The best (most reliant) brand I have found is TP-Like (Kasa) plugs. Imagine turning off lights,TVs, fans, Scenty warmers, coffee pots, and more by telling Google or Alexa "Turn on/off bedroom lights. Turn on the porch light. Turn on my TV. Increase volume on tv. Turn off the coffee pot. Anything that can plug in, can plug in via a smart plug that is first plugged into an outlet. I can be in Hong Kong and tell my smart home devices to turn on or off
Google Nest Speakers can be plugged directly into the wall (saving flat surface area plus projecting sound into the room and not towards the ceiling with these that plug in diretlu into the wall socket. Even the ones I have outside are plugged directly into the outlets.
But the most useful Google Gadget are the Hubs (7 or 10"). Watch Youtube, play music, ask it questions that often times include photos or videos where the Nest Speaker can't do. 10" is has facial recognition that allows a lot more customization. It includes cameras. They are useful for watching and talking to the dogs when we're gone. Sorry this is so tech heavy. Besides makep/skincare this is my world.

Hi @monicakm ![]()
These very same "Smart Plugs" you recommendeed here are on a great sale now.
Could you pls explain how these Smart Plugs work?
Do I need anything in addition to WiFi, this Smart Plug, & the Appliance to be plugged into the Smart Plug?
TIA

Smart plugs are very affordable now. My favorite brand is TP-Link/Kasa.
I call them the "no drama" smart device company. There is a difference in brands. Smart plugs make devices you plug into them, "smart". If you plug in a lamp, with ordinary light bulbs, into a smart plug your lamp will be able to turn on and off with voice control. But in order to have voice control, you need a smart device like a Google, Alexa or Apple device. I much prefer Google. I have one Alexa that sits on top of the fridge. It's to add things to my Amazon cart and to get notifications from Amazon about reordering. Google is the king of information. Some will argue if it's the king of home automation but mine work flawlessly unless the internet is down and that rarely happens.
Let's say you buy a Google Nest device, one of the non-screen versions (that black hockey puck-looking device). It will cost about $43 right now. They will be up to 50% off for Black Friday or you can buy them on eBay for less. Make sure you're buying a Gen 2 device. With one of those, you can use any smart plug/device of your choosing. After you set it up, you'll simply say "Hey Google, turn on/off light/fan/tv/etc...whatever is plugged into your smart plug. It won't turn a fan speed up and down or adjust the volume of a tv tho. I have a large iron scroll behind the den tv with an upright under it. It's plugged into a smart outlet and I can turn it on and off but not adjust the lighting intensity. You could turn on/off countertop appliances (I don't use them for that tho). I have my Scentsy warmers plugged into them so I can turn them on/off via voice. All the TVs we have use them except the den/football tv and it's built into that tv. And you can use them in conjunction with extension cords.
Do you listen to music from YouTube or Spotify or other online music streamers, if so you can tell Google Nest to play your playlist (or any music) with the Nest Mini (black hockey puck).
Sooo, smart plugs are super helpful and usually the first thing people buy when they're starting to build their smart homes but you have to first choose a smart speaker (black hockey puck) to tell it what to do. If you need to know anything else about a smart plug, lmk.

Dang G/F
I have such faith & admiration in your knowledge, integrity & caring, that last night, I bought the smart plug device you posted in the earlier pic (weeks ago) in here, on this thread!
Mine says "mini" so I hope it's okay. Arrives tomorrow.
Now - Next step: You said (above):
"But in order to have voice control, you need a smart device like a Google, Alexa or Apple device. I much prefer Google. I have one Alexa that sits on top of the fridge. It's to add things to my Amazon cart and to get notifications from Amazon about reordering."
Do you have a specific recommendation for the above bolded, underlined?
ref: "... smart device like a Google, Alexa or Apple device ..."
TIA
(added:
Even a pic of the above, or all pieces recommended & needed wld be helpful, if you can. Thx.)

WOW @SouthernBee ![]()
GREAT FIND!!
I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend snapping these up from QVC!
Great Christmas gifts too, esp for frequent QVC, Amz, or otherwise "ship to" shoppers. Remarkable at zipping right thru boxes of items!
Did you see these?
They're DOUBLE Qty AND
They come with the 2nd smaller cutter you were asking about earlier.
@San Antonio Gal 's suggestion of these Cutters were/are/is brilliant.
And a set of (2) Doubles, WOWZA!!

I'm just now seeing these and like it so much better than the black and orange (two colors I don't like at all..sigh). Gone are the days to spend extra money just for color sake tho. DH is still trying to retire.
