Not sure I spelled her last name correctly, anyway I notice that they do not announce her name in the opening credits. George, Robin & Lara get the recognition. Why is that?

I think you mean Amy Robach.

I never noticed. There are rumors that Amy and Lara do not get along at all.

I don't get to watch often, but the only name I've noticed them leaving out recently is Ginger Zee--the weatherperson. And I wondered about why that is. I'll have to listen more closely next time.

Oh, okay - thanks LipstickDiva. Yes, that's the one. This didn't come to my attention until yesterday mostly b/c I don't watch. I have been tuning in to get the latest on weather conditions in the NE. After that, it gets silly IMO with a bunch of fluff reporting.

No idea pom, but I have heard the same rumors Lipstick has heard. Doubt that has anything to do with the lack of credit though.

vermint - I may have missed it, but I really don't think so. I especially listened intently this morning and her name was not announced.

Sometimes, when I'm running late eating breakfast, I'll see the very beginning. Will try to remember to pay attention. I could very well be wrong (gasp!) or maybe they leave out both names, and I only noticed the one.

Amy is not a co-host, like George, Lara and Robin are.

Amy is "the news reader" (that's the title, I think)

Ginger is the weather (Meteorologist)

Only the co-hosts are announced in the opening.

I loved Amy Robach when she was the Saturday anchor on Weekend Today. I remember her wedding pictures when she married Andrew Shue.

Unlike that ditz, Lara Spencer, (who was a lifestyle reporter on our local ABC doing nothing but flu**ff pieces) Amy Robach's roots are in hard news. Her biography lists her as a news anchor on GMA since 3/31/14.

The chemistry between all the GMA personnel seems forced at best. Why they allow Lara Spencer to rule the roost over real professionals is beyond me.

I don't see Lara "ruling the roost" over anyone. Each person was hired for their strengths, and there are three co-anchors, plus others who talk during specific segments. While they all need to be competent, maybe Lara scored better in test focus groups. {#emotions_dlg.unsure}
