I don't think Lara's husband works for ABC News; last I read he was selling real estate.

I have heard about the alleged "feud" between Amy and Lara, but I think the gossip columns blow that out of proportion because it's two attractive women "fighting". Today has a supposed Natalie Morales/Tamron Hall feud.

It was rumored Lara Spencer was the reason for Josh Elliott's departure.

Her body language screams I'm the queen bee here.

GMA is too much like the Carnival Cruise ships--flashing lights/ loud noises/music etc. I prefer The Today Show.

Josh Elliott had a specific career path and wanted George's job ..... when George signed a new deal, Josh decided to jump ship to NBC and it's already been made clear that he wants Matt Laurer's job when Matt decides to move on.

Honestly, I doubt Lara could be a "reason" for Josh to leave. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

I listened closely this morning, and Amy's name was not mentioned...only George, Robin & Lara. I'm pretty sure this is a recent development (last few months maybe?). I could have sworn they used to say George, Robin, AMY and Lara. But maybe not!

Anyway, the reports of friction among the cast are funny to me. When several people are together for several hours a day, there's bound to be times they get on each others' nerves! Just like any work and/or family group. The only difference with them is there are cameras and microphones around to capture every little thing, and other people just waiting to blow it out of proportion

Lara's husband used to be a reporter on our local ABC news.

That was many, many years ago.

Not sure if he left ABC before or after they got married.

Lara's husband is a real estate agent in Connecticut. He used to anchor Ahead of the Curve on CNN.

I think you mean Amy Robach.

I never noticed. There are rumors that Amy and Lara do not get along at all.

I've heard this, too......but, I think it's Amy's issue more than Lara's. What I heard was that Amy had her nose bent out of shape because she doesn't consider Lara to be of her stature journalistically speaking and was a little miffed when she wasn't made the #3 co-host instead of Lara. It has tainted my view of Amy every since hearing this. I like Lara and think she is more than capable of doing whatever they ask of her.

I have to say that I don't blame Amy for those feelings. She's much more qualified as a serious journalist. Let Lara stick to entertainment. JMHO.

Obviously, management thought Lara was who they wanted.........not her fault and Amy shouldn't take it out on her. You can not like the decision, but it isn't the person's fault if they accepted the promotion......and apparently, she treated Lara less than respectful.
