Covid really hurt so many businesses, ours included. It is hard to make up for years of down sales revenue. A friend of mine was raving about Temu the other day. She buys a lot of clothes from them. She thinks the quality is great as well as the prices. She said if she ever wants to return something, she gets the credit and they tell her to keep the product. Can’t beat that. I have no interest in supporting China though.

Hi@puppylips

Idk about temu and shein quality. TBH I haven't ever shopped either. I don't do much online shopping. But I do shop thrift stores. I see a lot of shein clothing that's donated. It's garbage quality imo and I'm not snobby about buying used clothing. I've had several co-workers tell me what they're wearing is temu or shein and it does have a cheap look about it, like the quality of the material isn't great. That opinion of mine was right on the money because a coworker gave me a flannel shirt that didn't fit her from shein. I liked the colors and pattern but it was definitely inferior to my other flannels. I like to shop for clothing at the deepest discount I can get with the best quality. I know what stores in my area to look in to do that. I also keep my clothes a long time, which helps me not to have to shop online for clothes to very often.

I can believe that those two Chinese based sites do affect b&m sales tho, which is too bad. There's nothing like shopping in a store, feeling and seeing what you are buying imo.

I remember shopping there with my girls when they were young teens and discovered fashion.  They'd wander around that store for much too long while I sat on the bench right outside, guarding our shipping bags.  Every trip to the mall had to include Forever 21.

I bought a few pieces online from Forever 21 last year.  Very good quality, cute & priced right!

@Zhills  I still have 3 cotton camisoles I got at F21 in 2009!  I wear them all summer under sheer tops.   They are so soft and they've nevr shrunk or stretched.
