I will miss Mary Beth Roe and wish her a Happy Retirement.  She is one of the first hosts I watched.  Always upbeat and classy her shows were delightful.

Yes, me too. She was the first host I watched as remember her on CVN. It's funny, as I was expecting my first in 1987 and recall when she was as well around that same time.

@Peggy S @KKJ Take heart...

I happened across an 30 min. "Retirement MBR video" on HSN/QVC+ (don't know if you know how to access that..I just put it in the search of my browser and watch it that way, there is an app access too, on smart tvs.) It's an entire video of MBR telling her own QVC memories and stories. Very enjoyable if you can watch it.

Anyway~in this video MB did hint at QVC asking her to show up and do "special shows" occasionally. They are also, (no surprise here), keeping her on as a trainer for young new hosts. So I have a feeling, after she has some fun with the grandkids, and travels with her husband, and enjoys other aspects of her life...we just might at least get to see her on air occasionally in the future. We'll have to see.

It really is amazing, how, across the board, she seems to be adored by many. She certainly has always "understood the job" and done it well. And one thing I always appreciated was how genuine, smooth, gracious she was with the on-air callers....many are not good at all with that. Jayne Brown is also good with the calls, and at the job.

KKJ, I also was preganant with my first child in 1987 and remember watching Mary Beth who was pregnant then tool.  She has always been my favorite through the years. I have always felt that we were at the same place in our lives.  I understand her wanting to retire to spend more time with the grandkids.  I have five grands now and just retired myself.  I sure will miss her though.

It can also be accessed by going through the Menu, to Watch and Shop, then Stream QVC+ for free, then scroll down the page a bit to the video "Shopping with Heart".

Too bad Nick Chavez died before she retired, or at all, because they were good friends and were great and fun together.

I loved him. Behind all his dramatic antics, which were fun...I think he was just a good, kind, soul and a beautiful man, inside and out.

Gone too soon. I always liked any products I got from him too.

@Peggy S

Is this Friday 3/21 the very last retirement show for Mary Beth?
