Nearly three million boxes of frozen DiGiorno pizzas, Stouffer’s lasagnas and Lean Cuisine meals are being recalled after customers said they found pieces of glass in their food.
Nestle USA, the company behind the brands, said the glass may have come from spinach that is a common ingredient in all three brands.
The food maker said no injuries have been reported and they are voluntarily recalling the products out of an abundance of caution.
“The quality and safety of our products are the top priority for our company,” Nestle said in a statement. “We apologize to our retail customers and consumers and sincerely regret any inconvenience created by this recall.”
The recall covers about 2.98 million individual boxes, including four varieties of DiGiorno pizzas, five types of Lean Cuisine meals, four Stouffer’s lasagnas and one Stouffer’s spinach souffle.

Thanks for the information. I hadn't heard about this. I'll check my freezer. It looks like the common denominator is spinach.

Purina workers discovered that many of their 10-oz tubs "may not contain the recommended level of added vitamins and minerals." The voluntary recalls includes the following products:
According to Purina's official Facebook page, the tubs in question have a "Best Before" date of June 2017 to August 2017. In addition, the first four digits of the production code range from 5363 to 6054.
If you own any of the recalled food, Purina advises you discard it and call for a refund: 1-800-877-7919 (US & Puerto Rico) or 1-800-345-5678 (Canada).
