Latest Update: FedEx driver who dumped packages in ravine no longer working there.

Blount County Sheriff says investigators have spoken with security personnel for Tennessee based FedEx and identified a driver. The driver’s name wasn’t released, and the Sheriff did not indicate whether any charges were possible.

FedEx released the following statement Monday afternoon:

“The security of our customers’ shipments is a top priority and we are committed to treating our customers’ packages with the utmost care.

In addition to cooperating with law enforcement, we have reviewed this situation and can confirm that the individual involved is no longer providing service on behalf of FedEx Ground.

We regret the inconvenience this situation has caused and appreciate our customers’ understanding throughout the package recovery process.

Where possible, recovered packages are being delivered to the intended recipients. In the event of a damaged shipment, we will make every effort to work with the affected shippers to reach a resolution."

And while they're at it, maybe teach the drivers to read street signs and maybe even take note of the state they're in.

Well, good they found the moron and canned him. If we all decided to do what he did we would quit taking food orders and just say I can't handle waiting tables, cashiers could just stand there and not ring up anybody because they just don't want too. Pharmacists can just stop counting pills and pouring out liquids because it's not convenient for them. On and on like that he should had just quit and manned up and said "I can't do this" instead of just pitching other people's paid for goods.

It sure is getting crazy out there. We have a porch pillow thief here, the news showed a pretty good picure of her that someone captured on their front door camera. Sure hope they catch her and punish her.

Law won't do anything to her it will be the court of public opinion that will be the worst thing that will happen to her.

"Look there goes ******* she was on the news as the pillow thief".
