In addition to the many other wonderful singers mentioned...Art Garfunkel. Loved his "Angel Clare" album when I was a teen. Still do. According to reviews of his recent concerts his voice is still amazing.

I grew up as a teen in the 70's.  I'd have to say my favorite singer was:

Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin - his voice on record was like no other and the rock n roll was great - not to mention he was handsome 

I think David Bowie would come in 2nd for me.  I loved all his characters and the music that went along with them - Ziggy Stardust, Alladin Sane, Thin White Duke....

I loved all the classic rock bands my brothers and sisters listened to and we still do.

Zeppelin, Skynrd, Cream, Hendrix, Tull, Buffalo Springfield, Pink Floyd, The Outlaws, Bowie, The Hollies.

Such good music from 60 some years ago, still sounds great now.

How great to have dated a musician in Tom Jones' backup band. Did you ever meet him? If it was me and I had a chance to meet him, I would have fangirled and made a fool of myself...LOL.

I saw him in concert countless times over the decades, in small venues and also in Las Vegas. We always had great seats, no further back than 3rd row. Still my favorite singer and performer. Be still my heart. ❤️
