Chocolate ice cream year round.  Mango is my summer favorite.  Then again, I also like French vanilla with cut up strawberries or blueberries. Of course I love hot fudge sundaes and banana splits.

 

We have a local ice cream store that sells ice cream over warm waffles with any topping you want.  Delicious.

growing up, I preferred vanilla or black raspberry.  Now, my favorite is pistachio.

Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream

 

French Vanilla Ice Cream

 

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

 

Although Blue Bell makes a respectable vanilla, as well.

 

Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream in half gallon

 

Truth be told, I like several different flavors and am a fan of gelato.  I just don't like a flavor that gets too "busy."  Keep it simple, I say.
