Selling out is a GOOD thing.  Anyone in retail should know that.  QVC does not care if some customers miss out.  They sold all that they had in stock.  No more wasted air time on that product.  No need to reduce the price to make less profit.  More room in inventory for more merchandise.

I think it's nice to have a sell-out, particularly if they are a new, small, start up brand.  Must be very satisfying.

Agree, especially when you know that's exactly what they want. They're really thinking cha-Ching! No vendor wants to carry over-stock. Everyone down that retail chain is high-fiving for each sell-out.

lol, yes , you know they are elated!  I always think of a QVC "moment" years ago when Joan Collin's was on selling her jewelry with Jeffery.  She kept glancing over at what was maybe a counter, or how much she was selling.  Then she woukd say we are selling a lot, that's a lot of money. Or something to that effect, lol.  Jeffery kept trying to reign her in telling her they were on the air, but fell on deaf ears. lol. Oh boy, then they had a break!   If Joan Collin's is excited for sales, imagine the other vendors lol. BTW,  I still have a pearl neck lace of hers, with gold stations in between. Looks new. Like Joan's jewelry, the gold coating held up really well!
