Yesterday we were returning from a visit to Annapolis. I was driving north on I-83 to York, PA driving at 75 in the right lane. All of a sudden, I had a jerk tailgating me for miles. Driver in fast lane was doing 70 & refused to pass me so this idiot was practically in my back seat. I was on "cruise" & maintained a steady 75. Apparently, he got fed up & passed me on my right on the shoulder flooring it to at least 90 mph! Never saw a squad anywhere on that interstate.

Please, we go through this every day - get in the passing lane and slow down - I know they are probably making a left turn somewhere - but it wasn't in the first 10 miles I had to drive behind them.
Then, it causes those going way over the speed limit to zip over to the right lane to pass. Yikes.
I sure they learned at some point during their driving test the left lane is for passing.
The others that drive me crazy are the zig zaggers - now, they are dangerous.

The left lane is a PASSING lane.
Anybody who is Driving Miss Daisy in the left lane because they think they are entitled to should get a ticket

It infuriates me to get stuck behind someone driving the speed limit or under in the passing lane. It happens all the time.
But my bigger pet peeve are people who merge onto the highway going only 50-55. Oy.

In my state, there are signs posted that say "passing lane only", but, do you think anyone pays any attention to that?!! I have never seen anyone get a ticket for going too slow in the left passing lane. Bravo to that highway patrolman who actually did give the ticket. I can just feel my blood pressure rising when a slow driver has traffic backed up in the right lane and I get over in the left (so called "passing" lane) only to be stuck there also by someone who is paying no attention whatsoever to the fact that they are causing a bottleneck effect and won't move over!

Those are one of those signs that some people read as "Whatever, Whatever, This Doesn't Apply to Me"

I wish they would enforce that around here. We have some of the worst drivers in the world. I'm happier driving on the Cross Bronx Expressway than in Upstate NY.

She must get all her aggression out on the highway, LOL
Yeah, her attitude reminds me of a teenager - quite immature for a grown adult. She's also sounding like she has a bit of road rage in her!

Drivers who do this on the interstates here in West Virginia are being ticketed left and right, thanks to a new law that went into effect July 1, 2017.
