Remember when QVC used the phrase: "buy now, wear now fashions" when they sold clothes in season?
Then, they morphed into the same routine as the stores.

But, I don't consider this a fall fashion item. The colors are spring/summer colors. I work in ac and most of the time I'm in ac. I would certainly wear this to work with pants or over a sleeveless dress. Yes I would wear some of the colors into the fall which makes this nice.
Our high temps today and tomorrow are supposed to be in the upper 60's. Yesterday it was in the very low 70's and windy.
@Lipstickdiva, with regard to my bolded part, I agree. Isn't that why they supply a "fashion" forum? But then..... n/m

Saying that, does not make it true...lol There is not a single retailer out there selling the fall line...lol Not now. But good for you for sticking up for Qvc....lol
@chrystaltree I did not say retailers were selling fall clothing! I said they're winding down on summer. Please read more carefully.

As many have noted, there is generally a shift prior to fall.
Tske at look at the crafts stores-they have their autumn wares out and QVC does Christmas in July which a lot of people like.
I don't buy things for the fall until late September though and Christmas isn't even on my radar until November.

I think they must have a much higher profitability on winter clothing because QVC really cuts short the summer clothing buying season.
.....also fall/winter clothing usually more expensive. The leather jackets will be TSVs soon.

Do you think the weight of the TSV was heavy?
In my area of TX, I get the most mileage from transitional fabrics/styles year round.

Regardless of the retail practice of showing seasonal clothes early, my gripe is that the hosts/vendors are tauting fall/winter styles as ALL YEAR ROUND clothes---which is definitely NOT how it is in the real world. I heard Gary with D&C saying that you could wear a jacket for example or wearing layers of clothing even in the warmer climates.....I'd like to see models wear that jacket in our weather here with 97 degrees and 104 heat index........NO WAY!!!
It's like QVC has done away with all seasonal clothes and just prefers to show 3/4 sleeves and jackets, sweaters all year long and saying these are appropriate for all year wear,. But QVC is limiting their potential customer base for sure.......especially if they are trying to reach a younger demographic that doesn't get cold easily and can wear short sleeves or sleeveless tops, and likes to show their arms....................

You're right. ...Where I live right now, there is a cool breeze blowing. I was just outside and I had a jacket and long leggings on. I would definitely wear a sweater.
