Exactly.

This is nothing new.

i can remember - in the early days of QVC - Kathy Levine touting QVC's offering summer clothes to refresh your wardrobe when retailers had already flipped to winter woolens in July. now Q has gone that way. back then they saw a niche and went for it.  that's okay -  i can click away at Amazon to fill out my wardrobe during the dog days. which is why A is killing it in retail.

True, this does happen in most retail places.   Seasons do change quickly though, at least in the northeast.  The Q hosts are always wearing sandals and capri's in the middle of winter!    It's kind of crazy that they have to dress like a season we are not in!  Watch when the fall clothes start, they'll be in boots and sweaters in July.....ridiculous. (LOL)

Typically, we see the start of Fall fashions by July.

This is a year round sweater to me.

This is how they always sell clothes in retail. They put the next seasons clothes out, way before the (fall) season starts. It will be 100 degrees and coats will be displayed.

Qvc always goes into Fall mode right after July 4th, they early this year.  They started sneaking the heavy dark stuff in about two weeks ago.  I'm shaking my head and giggling to myself...lol   I suppose they are banking on shoppers buying whatever the show and they are probably right.  I am not one of those shoppers.   I don't buy white jeans and sleeveless dresses in February and I don't buy heavy (ugly), dark dresses in June.  I did get a nice laugh when I turned on the tv this morning.  No doubt,  the July 4th Tsv will be a SG puffy jacket...lol

Saying that, does not make it true...lol   There is not a single retailer out there selling the fall line...lol   Not now.   But good for you for sticking up for Qvc....lol

It's 47 where I live right now. Yesterday did not get past the low 60's. I actually wore a sweatshirt when I went shopping yesterday. That sweater combo looks like a cute all-season sweater set to me. How often do we go out to eat and have to bring along a sweater due to the air conditioning? Actually, we rarely need air conditioning around here.

I'm not sure why this is in community instead of the fashion forum?

But, I don't consider this a fall fashion item.  The colors are spring/summer colors.  I work in ac and most of the time I'm in ac.  I would certainly wear this to work with pants or over a sleeveless dress.  Yes I would wear some of the colors into the fall which makes this nice.

Our high temps today and tomorrow are supposed to be in the upper 60's.  Yesterday it was in the very low 70's and windy.

I don't like the TSV, but I certainly wouldn't say it's a fall/winter piece. The fabric makes it a spring/summer/fall piece in Michigan. If it were more fitted shape and didn't have the peplum I would consider ordering it.
