Actually, Florida is not that boring.  The temperature changes, just not drastically!  

We have cold days and warm days.  I change my wardrobe to darker colors, long pants and closed shoes.  

You could keep the same if you don't want to  change.  Lots of people will wear shorts with sweat shirts and jackets and shoes and socks!  

One of the men here told me he only has 1 pair long pants...for Weddings and Memorials!

@Zhills  That's nice for those who like warmer weather, but that's not me.  My favorite seasons are fall and winter.  Bring on the beauty of colorful foliage and falling snow with crisp clean air.  Give me a chill instead of a sweat.  Always ready for heavy coats, boots, cashmere sweaters and scarfs, hot chocolate and a crackling fire.
