I very much enjoy Fall and then a little Winter!

It's so odd that I live right on the coast with the bay and oceans, so one would think I love summer and the hot weather. Truth is, I've always loved Fall and Winter. I would love to have a cozy cabin in the mountains. I enjoy Fall and all that comes with it, and don't mind Winter at all.

That would be a dream for me. No snow here ![]()

I am enjoying Summer.....Its been warm, but so nice to have the warmth and sunshine. I enjoy Fall the best, but do not look forward to Winter......I only want to see Snow on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
I hate driving in it!!! If I were retired, I wouldn't care so much, but being that I am still working it means getting out in it.. It is beautiful to look at though..
I do enjoy the changing seasons here in the Midwest!

I love the seasons, and I really love winter snow!! This was a few years ago.....we were snowed in for 3 days before the highlift could get here to dig us out!!!

Actually, Florida is not that boring. The temperature changes, just not drastically!
We have cold days and warm days. I change my wardrobe to darker colors, long pants and closed shoes.
You could keep the same if you don't want to change. Lots of people will wear shorts with sweat shirts and jackets and shoes and socks!
One of the men here told me he only has 1 pair long pants...for Weddings and Memorials!
That's exactly what I do here in NOLA. My own way of marking the seasons.

This has been a pretty lousy summer in my area. I don't like hot, humid weather so even in the best of years, it's not my favorite time of year, as it was growing up when it meant long vacations from school. This year has been exceptionally wet, with an almost daily drenching and some days more than one, along with a number of nerve-wracking storms and so on. Personally, I can't wait to see the tail end of summer. Fall is my favorite season. I also enjoy spring, when the luck of the draw nets us a nicer one, and think winter gets a bad rap. I prefer it to summer, but our winters tend toward the mild side.

I've often said fall should last for six or so months and the rest gets divided between winter and spring. Summer gets one month. Around here, summer tends to last well into what should be fall so I can live without any Indian Summer at all.

We have had weeks now of triple digits and heat index from 112 to 116. Yesterday and today we are only in the upper 90's and it is like a breath of fresh air.
I came into the lobby of my office building this morning and the computerized office directory was showing the current temp @ 68º. I stopped and just gazed at it. Tomorrow's high and for the next 10 days is back to 105 to 106. I am ready for deep fall since in Texas summer usually lasts until about Halloween.

What is Fall?
We go from hot to cold in FL.
We have just had the hottest Summer on record! I am so tired of 80 degree nights! We usually have an ocean breeze that cools it off at night....not this year! Even the ocean water is in the 90s.
