DH and I used to cross country ski.

The Rocky Mountains are beautiful and we have spent quite a bit of time in Colorado through the years.

I love the colors of fall, and I love the cooler, not cold, weather. I love decorating for fall. I love wearing the colors of fall - it is my "season," and I look my best in the colors of the leaves.

But I feel like I didn't get enough time to sit, relax, and read outside. I didn't even make some of our favorite summer dishes. The lazy, hazy days didn't happen. I love the feel of the sun and wearing flip flops (supportive ones of course!). I love being able to go outside in the daylight at 8:30 p.m. I love wearing flowy maxi dresses.

So I will wait for "Indian Summer" - warmer weather and the colors of fall!

@beach-mom I feel the same way. It's been a very busy summer for me. I like to chill & relax too.

I haven't been to the beach yet and we usually go every week or so for the afternoon. This year though I'm going with a friend for several days after Labor Day. I'm looking forward to that!
