@bri20 @momtochloe I wouldn't want to live in IL because of their laws that are different than what I'm used to....I also understand taxes, at least property taxes, are very high there.

Thank you for your reply @YorkieonmyPillow, we certainly do have our challenges here but I have lived here my entire life so I guess we are stuck with each other . . . ![]()

What a dirtbag this guy is! It IS too bad that IL taxpayers are stuck with his room & board for the next 40 or so years. I say put him in general population & let "nature" take its course. Nature, of course, of the hard core fellow inmates. I would love for him to have some type of procedure to shut his snarky mouth up, too. A true piece of work.
Hey, maybe he & the other (wife killer) Drew Peterson in CA could be pen pals?

correction:
The CA killer is Scott Peterson. He murdered Laci, his beautiful wife, and their unborn son.

@LOL @ dee. Excellent description of Drew. The one in CA is Scott Peterson, whom someone else mentioned earlier in this thread.

Oh yeah, he IS reminiscent of Ted Bundy. What I never got was how people would say that Ted Bundy (and maybe this guy, too) was sooooo good looking. REALLY? The guy had Charles Manson eyes. He was scary-looking, is what he was!
One big difference: Bundy was into necrophilia. UGH.
He also killed-and-ran. Peterson blatantly killed his wives.
Peterson had connections to his victims and even his prosecutor-intended-victim. Not so Bundy who killed strangers ( and not his longtime girlfriend). I really don't see many similarities at all.;
!!!!!!! I am amazed he hasn't been shanked wherever he is.
I think the poster is describing the creepiest psychopathic factor that Bundy & Peterson share. Scumbags both.

eta:
wish the dearly departed Ann Rule had written a book about both Drew & Scott P. The Stranger Beside Me & Small Sacrifices are both compelling books written by Ms. Rule (as were others that do not come to mind). She wrote about the psychological makeup of predators in her books, not just the gory details that most true crime books perpetuate. She is the ultimate True Crime researcher/writer IMHO.\d

They should let someone who believes in "stiff punishment" take over and get him to tell where he put Stacey. Hmmmmmm. Now who would that be???

Ted Bundy was the devil himself--he stalked in the places that I went to as a teenager in WA state .Actually killed one of my younger friends who lived just a few blocks away from me that was in my girl scout group. He got a way more peaceful, gentle death than he deserved, IMO.

I live in IL and am very familiar with the Drew Peterson case. As far as his wife Stacy, the one who is still missing...i have my doubts that they will ever find her. My thought on this is that he was a police officer, and probably well versed in the ways of disposing of a body so that it would never be found. Wasn't it that he and his cousin threw a blue plastic barrel or cooler into a river somewhere in IL? I could look it up, but not wasting one more second of time on that dirt bag. As far as him being good looking...in seeing photos of him when he was younger, I never thought that. He was probably quite the smooth talker. Sounds to me that the third wife's murder investigation was all botched up, In the end, he got what he deserved, just like OJ and our illustrious ex-governor Blagojevich, who is due for resentencing in a week or so. He still thinks that he's innocent too.

My memory, unfortunately, has gotten really bad in recent years but that was what I was trying to remember the other day, upthread.
I just remembered something about a relative of his supposedly helping him load this blue barrel into the back of his vehicle (truck? Can't remember that, either). But I don't remember if that relative of his went with him to dispose of it or not. Either way, I imagine he may well have, as he is probably forced to maintain allegiance with Peterson - knowing that he's a sociopathic killer and all.

Extra scary because he was "dirty cop" I always thanked god they found a way to convict him in the first place.
