I did the math in my head and I was 14 when he was killed. I have absolutely no memory of any of it.

That's understandable at that age.  Usually the news replays a lot of the scenes every year.  It's probably on youtuble, also.


 



I will never forget it.  I must have been 8 or 9 years old.  It was if someone in our immediate family had died.  All of my aunts, cousins and grandparents were gathered in the living room.  They all were screaming, crying and moaning.  I remember feeling so so sad.  It was awful.
