Yes...but I much prefer taping and zipping thru the commercials. It is a running joke here with my DH...can't I just zip thru the commercials when watching live? Umm...no wish I could.

You can if you watch semi-live. If it's a half-hour show, just do something else for ten minutes, then hit rewind back to when it started, then watch it semi-live and you'll be able to zip through the commercial segments AND finish watching the show at the same time it actually ends. Same for hour long shows, only start watching 20-22 minutes after it starts.

I do this a lot. I either do something else or watch on the other tuner, or watch something recorded until the appropriate time and start watching semi-live. I just cannot sit through commercial segments. I get bored and end up walking away.
