When I had my last two cats ... one was a head sleeper.  She had to spoon around my head to go to sleep.  She would wake me up by "sucking" on my eyelashes.  The other got behind my knees.  I slept on my side and he would get in the crook.  I rolled over on him every night and it didn't matter. He'd just adjust and kick me.  LOL  When my head sleeper passed he moved up to her pillow.  I think he needed it as much as I did.
