I am a member of my alumini assoc but really, my class was over 1900 kids and our school had well over 7000. Who could ever keep track????? I knew a lot of people in HS but probably only a very small % of all those there. Some of my classes had 100 kids in them. We had a class that graduated in Jan and one in June every year because there were too many for one graduation. Even as it was we graduated on 2 different nights - the kids who were on honor roll or had awards for any reason plus those whose name started with A thru G were first night and H thru Z the second night. If I recall correctly there were about 3 valedictorians each night. I guess this is a joy of being a baby boomer.
DH and I do keep in touch with a few close friends from HS and I have friended some of my classmates on FB - but really, I will not , nor would I ever want to, attend my class reunion. 50 years this year though since graduation.

No.

No...I went to a pretty low-life, almost ghetto-ish highschool. I was glad to get away from that!

Absolutely Not
30 years have passed. And I won't go to any reunion either.

I sure do! My three best friends are from junior high (1) and high school (2). I love them like sisters and we've been best friends for 45-47 years.

No. Big urban HS with 630+ in class and I wasn't one of the popular kids. Checked in once on the big HS reunion site for the 25th reunion and not a single person I knew had signed up/registered as being interested. That was the end of that - I THOUGHT.
Just a few days ago I had a voicemail from the reunion committee left on my cell phone. The reunion site did not have a current phone # for me (if they'd ever had one, which I doubt), land line or cell, and my phone #s have always been unlisted. My info isn't listed anywhere "publicly" online because I've checked before. It was CREEPY. Not a snowball's chance in Hades I'd call those people.

No, I went out-of-state to university after high school and was employed at a company there soon after graduation. Only returned to the state where my high school is located for visits with parents and siblings. Most of my current friends are former co-workers and current organizational contacts.

I am in close touch with my best friend from elementary school, and my best friend from high school. There were 65 students in my senior class; the majority still live in the area, so I run into them occasionally. Never been interested in attending a reunion.

I have several of my classmates as friends on Facebook. Two of my close friends from HS got together every year until one passed away at only age 51 (9 years ago). The other remaining friend and I talk on the phone at least once a week.
We go to our HS reunion every 5 years to see everyone.
Our whole class was only a few more than 100, so that makes a difference I think. I can remembrer most everyone. However one classmate just recently passed away and I can't think for the life of me who he was.
The whole HS was only about 400 kids.
Interesting question OP.

No, didn't have a whole lot of friends in high school - went to 3 different schools during high school so I didn't have a chance to connect with anyone.
