A man named Clinton Curtis testified in Tallahassee , Florida (the Fl. captial ) that he was paid to write a program that would not be detectable, to rig the Florida computers so they would ensure the election goes a certain way. In Florida we vote on a paper ballot then it is fed into a computer which counts the votes. According to Clinton Curtis not all the votes are actually counted. Very interesting! I wonder if this program has, in fact, actually been in place, or if it was still in the stages of being planned to use in the future election?
Very scary!

It seems like that happened in the Illinois Governers election. It's like none of the early voting was counted and everything got fuzzy at the end.
The Mayor of Chicago & Gov are in cahoots and are super rich - very scary.

I don't doubt this for a minute and have thought about the possibility often..... Yes, it's very scary and incredibly angering.....

The DA in a California city says hackers were at work there.

It's a shame but this doesn't surprise me. You can't trust anything anymore.

When did he testify in Tallahassee? He testified in Congress in 2004 because he wrote the program in 2000.
This was all in a documentary called Uncounted that was released in 2008 and called into question the election results of the 2004 elections. I saw it in the theater when it came out.

I'm not in the least surprised. The history of elections shows that many have been rigged, fixed, paid for by special interests, etc. Computers make all those devious deeds easier to do and easier to do on a bigger basis. That's what scares me.
Will there ever be a world with no riggers, no thieves, no scammer?. I'm a cynic - I think things get better and get worse at various times, but a totally innocent world? Maybe right before Eve bit into that apple?

The U.S. has had controversial elections for at least a couple hundred years already. Rigged computer programs only reflect today's technology. Wasn't there some ballot box stuffing during one of LBJ's senatorial elections? Haven't there been cases of deceased people voting? It goes on & on.

The group True The Vote has been going around the country suing counties to clean up voter rolls. Removing dead , non residents and people who have moved on. Many counties have more voters than residents who can vote.

This thread brings to mind when I was Judge of Election in a small town.
A member of the other party told a lie about me, and they called the county seat, and their lawyer. (I found out about the lawyer later, and I was told that he has a parrot on his shoulder) ... could never find out who it was.
We were accused of tampering with the machine. It didn't go anywhere, and at the next election, I called all of the other workers to tell them to be there on time.
That was the problem the first time, (showing up late) and the other person who was there lied.
