When our addtion was complete (back in 2001) we hired 2 Men and a Truck to help move stuff from third floor to addition,which is in the back of the main floor. There was bedroom furniture (king size) that had to come down a spiral staircase. We did tip and provide snacks and cold soda. I think it was appreciated.

But I don't think I would tip the soffit guy.

By the way,when I first read the title of this thread I thought tips meant hints about how to do a better job. Silly me!
