I do trust those gut feelings, because when I did not, I regretted it.

Re: Do You Trust Your Gut?

[ Edited ]

Yes, definitely...I call it my inner voice or instinct or, for those who believe, my higher power or guardian angel...or whatever you want to call it...guiding me through life....It has never failed me.

When I was in my early 20's, I ignored it and tried to rationalize the uncomfortable feelings that I was experiencing....a big mistake that taught me a very important life lesson about listening to my inner voice that is guiding me.

Combo. Common sense and instinct. If I'm calm emotionally and sense my instincts are leading me, then I pay attention. I try to use reason and logic as well.

What we call a gut feeling are usually subtle signs residing in our subconscious.

The kind of things we feel or see everyday but nothing significant enough to pay too much attention to it, it's just part of life.

But when we need to make a decision, all those little signs come together to what we call a "gut feeling"

Yes, I for sure go with my gut.

I do appropriate research, talk to friends and family, reach for common sense but in the end, I listen to MY gut.
