I purchased a pr. of shoes three weeks ago and they are still processing.  I went back to see if anyone reviewed the shoes and couldn't believe that there over two hundred reviews from two weeks ago.  I wonder if they ran out and are waiting for someone to return a pr. in my size and color.  Do they send merchandise that has been tried on and not new?

@usffan Many items are listed "As Is" and the disclaimer states they may have been returned or used during shows for demonstration.

These items are clearly marked "As Is" when you view them on the website.

I have received items in the past that were obvious returns.

They were not marked "as is" or represented as anything other than new.

Previously worn & used items have definitely been known to be sold and shipped out as new. It's never happened to me but it did happen to someone I know and I see reviews about it all the time.

Yes they do, it's happened more than once to me.

@CelticCrafter @spursfan2 Wow! I really didn't know they did that.

That's just horrible.

Of course any item that has been returned and is clearly unworn should be repackaged as new before being sent out and should not smell/appear dirty, etc. Do you really think that no one else has tried on some of the clothes or shoes that you buy at the store?

Sorry if my previous post sounded a little snarky. What I’m trying to say is that I don’t have a problem with a tried-on item being sent out again as long as it appears totally new.  I wouldn’t expect a department store to get rid of an item that I tried on and didn’t purchase.

@tucsongal in my case it wasn't a try on and return.  It was wear it for 30 days and return it disgustingly stained with dirty tissues shoved in the pockets.  It was truly gross.

I know there have been plenty of stories here like that, truly disgusting I agree.
