I bought a robe 5 years ago so wear in case I needed it in the hospital after my knee surgery and haven't worn it since.

Re: Do You Own A Robe

[ Edited ]

I wear a seersucker knee length button robe all year round, it's lightweight and great for wearing after your morning shower, doing your hair and makeup.

I don't like extra fabric lying around.  So I don't lounge wear or robes either.  Neither does my husband.  Don't have throws lying around on furniture.  Also don't own extra cardigan sweaters.  Any fabric lying on the floor, the furniture, sitting endlessly in closets goes out to the trash.

I got the ‘Women's Sherpa Housecoat Zipper Robe’ in Sea Blue and Nude. Thinking about getting the one in Dusty Blue too.

Oh, I missed the part where you said you bought those Pavilia ones! Just read 'sherpa' and missed 'Pavilia'.  But aren't they the best?! So warm. I got the Dusty Blue and also the Lavender.

I own several. Wear one after a shower or sometimes in the AM at breakfast.

I don't have a classic robe, I haven't had one in 30 years or more.    I have 3 long sleeve 3/4 length open fleece jackets that are my robes.  I have the red one on over my pj's now.  My little niece calls them fleecies.

I just purchased them after I saw your post on Pavilia robes. I’ve never tried them before.

They look comfy and warm. Got 6 inches of snow the other day (drifts of 10 plus inches) and I’m old and cold. lol

At this time in my life it seems almost necessary to have a robe. There's nothing that will cover me more quickly (in an emergency) than a robe. I  get too hot in long  pj's. Many times it's just a tee shirt.   I keep that robe close by. I wouldn't want to traumatize a first responder!

We didn't get any snow down here.Woman Sad Was hoping to see some but all we got were a few flakes and rain. Glad you got some snow! We all need the moisture for sure.

I hope you will enjoy your new Pavilia robes. My only complaint is that the sleeves are too long for my short arms so I have to wear sleeve garters on mine and that works out great.

Love robes. I wear one all the time during the cold winter months. Probably depends where you live. I definitely prefer ones that zip up.
