Yup ITA. That is a good rewards program. I have a Discover card and have had it for many years. Very happy with them. I pay it off every month so I don't know about the interest charges etc. But they have good customer service.

Hope I'm not repeating anyone, but I love that they now also provide your credit score on your monthly bill. Nice touch! I, too, have found their customer service people to be top notch even though I've only had to contact them once or twice with a question.

Scottie, I always pay the full balance each month, too, so I don't keep up with interest or other charges in that respect.

Krimpette, That's right! I forgot about their new feature with the current FICO score. That's a good thing, too.

I just got a new Discover Card a few months ago . . . actually it was re-activating and OLD Discover account I'd forgotten about . . . that 10% and even sometimes lesser of 5% is hard to beat. I've already earned about 300.00 in rebates . . . had some purchases to make more so than usual in a re-decorating project. That beats the 2% on my AmEX and 1% on my Chase Visa . . . & mrrebates & ebates too.

But we always, always pay in full each month.

IF you do a balance transfer on your Care Credit . . . you will pay a fee . . . probably 3% so IF you're on a 0% on that balance . . . might not want to transfer it. I'll sometimes use Care Credit for a crown at the dentist of something just to lighten the "hit in one month" and spread it out a little . . . just because it is 0% and doesn't cost me anything.

I have had a discover cor many years and I am happy with the company. I can speak with a 'real' person that I can understand when ever I have a question, they are very helpful if you need to dispute a claim, which I have done twice since having the card. I also get reward dollars that I let accumulate and then transfer to my checking account. I have no issue with the company. I also pay the bill off every month.

I, too, use Discover as my primary CC. Their points system and customer service simply can't be beat! I have never experienced sub-par service from Discover, and I've had the card for a decade or more.

I have a number of cards, however, primarily use my amazon chase visa for the last 7 yrs. or so. Always pay the balance off in full and collect points which allows me to get cash back or put the points towards an amazon purchase.

I did have discover and since I wasn't using it they closed my acct. and now I get mail from them that the miss me and want me back...crazy! lol When I did use them they were find but many places didn't take discover.
