@kivah Oh that sounds wonderful, I'd love to watch it.

All my life I longed to go to NYC for a couple of weeks but at 73 it's not gonna happen. I wanted to visit a city where I could get Chinese or pizza at 1 a.m. or go to an all night movie!

Something new to me. Has anyone realized that the box that holds your notifications is on the right hand side under the word Notification?

Please don't tell it it was always there lol. From what I remember it was between your forum name and notification.

@Sage04 ,

Yes, another strange "improvement"🙄

@Love my grandkids  come on, you can still do it. Age has nothing to do with it. New York has the best chinese food and pizza (not trying to start a little war) but it's true. It's the City that never sleeps.

We got up to low 70s here in Northern California.I laid chicken manure in my two square foot garden boxes. I am excited because I got drip irrigation in the boxes along with complete repairs of my irrigation system. No dragging hoses this summer. I also put my lovely new Hollyhock rug on my deck.

@chessylady  I've never heard of chicken manure but I think I've figured it out. So would this make your flowers or whatever is in the garden boxes grow?

Ive never seen so few new threads here.  Hasn't anyone done anything interesting or fun this week-end?  Maybe everyone has been busy?

It was a beautiful day here, breezy but sunny and bright.  There is a ton of fresh, new snow on the mountains from this week's storm.  The Bradford Pears and Purple Leaf Plums are in full bloom.  It was a perfect (for me) 67°.

@Kachina624   Do you have other interests besides the board? Hobbies to occupy your time? Reading? Playing an instrument?

@Mom2Dogs    I so agree.  Get sick of writing a thoughtful comment to a post, then after I've spent time on it, I enter it only to discover it's gone.  The reasons seem so arbitrary, because it MIGHT be argumentative or could be deemed political, etc., etc.  What's wrong with a civil argument?  We used to call them discussions.

I guess the mods will be elated when we're all gone and they can do CS full time.

There is also that favored reason for deleting a thread "baiting" which could be attributed to almost every post on these controversial topics.And deleting some when others could have been deleted for the same reason. But I guess they can't get to them all. At least I'd like to think that and not that it is just an individual opinion about a post or only deleting some and not others.

The boards are biased and one sided.  Certain posters can say anything about anybody; other posters aren't allowed any say at all, even if they say nothing offensive, just because they have another opinion.

Therefore, they are no longer discussion boards, they are opinion boards.  For the right opinions of course.

@Kachina624Here's a fun fact.  I was reading reviews on qvc and lo and behold I landed on one of yours.  I found it fascinating so I read through a few pages to see what else you had to say about many items that sadly are already sold out or discontinued.  Was very impressed that you rank as Qvc's top 25th customer. Do you ever run out of space for all of your stuff?  Do you purge at times and donate or sell on ebay?  You're such a fascinating person with a myriad of tastes....but after 3 pages I got bored and read no further.  I wonder why qvc keeps reviews up on items that are discontiuned...so strange.
