That second last photo of the deer has the spindliest  legs of them all!

The photos, as always, give me a lift and a smile no matter how my day is going.  I think these photos belong in nature magazines as I have stated many times. They bring a sense of peace and a feeling of calm.

I always enjoy the touch of Miss Cricket whether she is snoozing or resting, alert and watching.  She fits right in with the visitors! Great pictures as always.

Re: DEER Thursday 04/08/2021

Thank you, Mama Wick.  This morning (East Coast)  I opened the blind to my den about 6:30 a.m.  There was a doe staring at me a few feet away under an old Apple tree.  She was not happy with me.  I buy apples (dropped apples) from an orchard in a nearby county and put a couple dozen out each night.   Last night I forgot to do that.  She got up, looked at me and shook her head.  Tonight, I put 2 dozen apples out for her.  She has me trained well, like your deer have you trained well!!

Photo No. 1 has a hauntingly lovely look, doesn't it?

Such pretty beings in your yard, MamaWick.  A couple days ago I looked in my backyard and saw a round, brownish/reddish something under the oak tree.  It was partially hidden by the large tree trunk.  What was it?  Did something blow into the yard?  Was it an animal?

I knocked on my patio door.  Nothing happened.  Then I jiggled the latch on the door and a young red fox sprinted into the woods.  Yep, curled up in a ball and sunning himself, and by giving me a partial view, Mr. Fox was able to fool me.

Hi Beauties,  We are your followers and love seeing you all the time.  Love to the last Beauty on her rug.  Mama spoils you.  I usually see you cuddled up in a couple of blankets.  In our home we call them blankies.  lol  I have a cat and give her a blankie in her bed.  Usually she sleeps under the blankie.
