Are you a fan of magic shows?

I admit that I am not. It relies on deception to fool the audience, and I don't like to be deceived.

So, do you enjoy magic shows?

Very much ! There is a great book entitled "Fooling Houdini".... about magic.

YUP! I can't stand David Copperfield though.

A very good magic movie - The Illusionist. An oldie but goodie. The kind of movie you better not blink. Rarely shown on tv.

I find some magic/illusion interesting but ones with over-the-top drama (music, gestures, etc) really bug me.

I do too. Sometimes I can even figure out how they are done. My husband is good at directing my attention to the manipulation during the trick.

I don't like magic at all. You know it's not real, there is a trick to it, I'm not in on the act. My father loved magic, the fact I hated magic, well he took it personally and was not at all happy about it!
