@Mindy D.  They wear fur coats and hunker down in the woods which serve as wind breaks.  Deer survive nicely in places much colder than Texas, including places where there is snow all winter and sub zero temps.  They do migrate from higher to lower altitudes in cold weather, not a factor in Texas.

I think the visitors are all happy your furnace is off and windows open so you too can enjoy the outside air as they are doing!  It appears the bucks and does have gathered around to welcome the warmth at the Wick house!!!!!
