I love Culver's restaurants. Before I changed jobs, there was one near my office and I would go there for lunch some days. I liked their burgers as well as the fish and chips. They used to have a nice tuna melt, but it looks like that's off the menu now. They have great fries and I also liked that I could get onion rings there. Most places either don't have onion rings or have onion rings with that coarse mealy batter instead of the smooth batter you find on a good fish fry. The staff there was always very frendly and I liked the occasonal Turtle Sundae.

Now I'm across town and there's a Culver's here, but it's in a really inconvenient location. There's no good way to get from there to my home without doing U-turns or driving in circles just because there's no way to get out of there and 4 lanes over in time to make a left turn onto my street. It's a bummer.

Culvers is my favorite fast food restaurant and it definitely is a couple steps above the other drive ins, and I'm not trying to bash the others, because I stop at those once in a while too!

They have a variety on the menu - love the tuna melt, burgers, patty melts, fish sandwich, chicken tenders (won't eat them anywhere else) soups, full meals, well, just about everything!

They are usually always clean and a nice place to go to, including service and quality.  An all around good restaurant.  Sometimes takes a little longer because they are making your order fresh, but well worth it.

Two thumbs up and ten stars for me!!  One of the benefits of living in WI, lol!

@HerRoyaLioness  We have three Culver’s in our area and none of those have ever offered tuna melts (which I really like).  Does your Culver’s still have tuna melts?

I like their frozen lemonade in the summer.

So do I, but I like to add raspberries to the mix.

The frozen lemonade is carb friendly?  @deepwaterdotter

There’s a Culver’s near me in AZ.  I like it but the food quality is inconsistent.  My new favorite “fast food” restaurant is the chicken tenders at Raising Cane.

No it's not, it's full of sugar, but I have been known to share a small cup with my husband on a hot summer day.

Ratz, @deepwaterdotter.  I’ll give it a try before heading back home.

We live in Wisconsin and eat there every Friday night!  Great food at reasonable prices.

It is what it is!!!

@Nannerbelles, being from WI, we like Friday night fish, but restaurant wait times are long.  A Culver's cod dinner is a great substitute for a supper club fish dinner.

@itsmagic - I haven’t had one for a few months now, so I can’t say for sure if mine still has them.  Last time I ordered one, the young man seemed stumped, but I did get it!  Will have to check next time I go.  I’m in the north east part of the state.

There are several Culver's in my area. Their walleye sandwiches are stupendous, but are only available during Lent (I'd better get there soon!)

Culver's has been in the St. Louis area for quite awhile, and the food is always good. Very fresh and the service is great! Burgers, fries, ice cream - it's all good!
