@CrazyDaisy , This isn't a sadness contest.

Local obits here don't mention cause of death. One can surmise, if donations to cancer or heart charities are mentioned.
Sometimes by posted "tributes" one can suspect suicide..."Why didn't you call me?" "I wish I'd been there for you."
Sometimes the tributes make me cringe.

Are you seriously turning this into an obit contest????

What's your point?

@Tinkerbell3 Threads evolve...sometimes pointlessly.
Hope your day gets better.

@CrazyDaisy, this is absolutely heartbreaking.
I will stop there so the thread doesn't get poofed.

@Tinkerbell3, it would be very helpful if you would copy the poster's comment to whom you are responding. Otherwise, you are making random comments and many times no one knows who you are responding to.

My husband is an avid reader of obits yet doesn't really like people well enough to be sociable when those he knew were alive. Yet, he seems to enjoy reading them anyway and telling me who died when in most cases I never met the person: a colleague from work maybe or someone he went to school with. He likes to tell me anyway.
