I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Clear Choice (dental implants). Had an initial consultation with them. It went well. Their facility was amazing. They do everything right there. Since being diagnosed with diabetes, I have had many, many issues with my teeth and unfortunately it's come to possibly taking this big step. I appreciate any and all comments/advice. Thanks so much!

I was curious about this as well and I know how wiped out I am after one big procedure, so my concern is how on earth do they do all that work in one day? It must be extremely stressful on the body....

The customer reviews are not that stellar....

My periodontist did not want the abutment and crown placed until the implant was secure and healed within the bone graft. For me it was 6 months. I don't know how they can do it all in one day.

I have several implants that I have gotten over time. The process in every case was 6 mos to a year. The longer time was when bone grafting was necessary. I can't imagine how they can do anything close to a permanent implant in the time they claim.

Dental implants are surgery. I have an implant- took many visits- months, best tooth in my mouth. Another implant didn't take, my body rejected it, dentist and I could only deduce stress.
I knew someone who went to NYU dental school to have work done by students, supervised by professors,
at a reduced price. 10 were done in one day. The man was in excruciating pain for months, it drove him out of his mind.
He committed suicide, his family sued for malpractice.
Your health is not a place to seek bargains in my humble opinion.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I wonder about Clear Choice myself, I was always told that dental implants take several months of dental appts and several different specialists are involved.

Thanks All for your comments. When I went for the consultation, I was told they put temporary implants in while the "screws" fuse to the bone which could be 4-6 months. After that time, they put the permanent implants in. It is far from a "bargain" price. Quite the opposite. I was absolutely shocked at the price they quoted me. I'm going to see someone else next week for a second opinion.

Yes this! I shake my head every time I see this commercial. Dental implants really need to be done by people who truly know what they are doing and aren't rushing it because it can leave you in pain and anguish the rest of your life and/or multiple attempts to correct it, which also means even more $$.
My husband had this done and it took close to a year for the whole process. It IS expensive and to bargain shop is NOT wise, not at all. In my husband's case, they also had to do a bone graft before they could do his implants and you get a few different choices there and that is why his took a bit longer but I am so thankful our doctor was so thorough and detailed.
With all that said, it was one of THE best things he's ever done (he's had a bridge since he was in his early 20's and hated it) and he has an amazing set of teeth now, something he never thought he'd have. He'd do it all over again even knowing the time and $$ it cost.
