No. I don't go to reunions. For myself, I didn't like most people then, and I'm not going to be interested in them after 50 years. Anybody I'm interested in, I keep in touch with.

I wasn't INVITED to my last reunion, and it was a BIGGIE!
I've never gone to a single one. lack of interest.

I honestly don't know. I have attended reunions in the past, and one was fun and the other was just ok...I made my fun, but I think the 5 year reunions are stupid, you haven't really changed that much in 5 years. Then we had a 10 year and a 20 year, and i had a ball at my 20 year.....The 10 year was not as much fun......I probably will attend my 50 when it comes around.....

They are really not my cup of tea. I know people who wouldn't miss one and I just say, "Well, I'm glad you had a good time" and leave it at that.

I have never gone to any of my high school reunions (and graduating from a college as big as THE Ohio State University, a college reunion isn't appealing either).
I had a wonderful time in high school, It was the best time of my life, (right along with the years I raised my son), so it isn't like it was a miserable time I want to forget, but I just don't care to go back, no matter how wonderful it was.
And I have asked myself several times why I don't go, because I usually love visiting 'the past'. I think it has to do with who does go to the reunions. I talk to a friend who goes, and it is people I had no relationships with, and I have no desire to reconnect with. The reunions are pretty pathetic, mostly drinking in local bars, which is just not my thing. I will soon be out of high school 40 years.

@Lordie be, as I didn't already have the dreaded mortality shakes. Now I feel as if I am about to crumble into dust any minute. ;-)
@suzyQ3 Well as someone that was given a 30% chance of survivial at 32, I tend to focus on now because life has no guarentees. I'm glad I've made it through and I'm still around but will I be around when I'm 70 I have no idea?

I'm surprised to see so much negativity! Maybe it's a regional thing, but class reunions are popular here in NE Ohio. Let me first mention that I was not particularly popular in HS......I was pretty shy with only a few close friends.
Our first reunion was at 42 years, and they came from all over the country. Our graduating class was only 85, so we all knew each other, and we had so much fun that we had our 50th just last September 2016.
The crowd wasn't as large as the 42nd, and some were showing obvious signs of aging, but we were all still so happy to see each other again. One of the guys even put together a CD of old school pictures for each of us to take home with us. Believe it or not, they were even able to get four of our teachers to attend, and we all contributed to their meals. There were many hugs and smiles. The only negative part was the awful bronchitis I caught while I was there!
BTW, I stayed to the end, and the caterers had us take home the leftovers. (the food was wonderful.) I had good eats for the next couple days!

I have no interest in ever attending any high school reunions. My only friend from high school who was like a sister to me past away a few years ago. No one else mattered to me.
I would however, go to my college reunion.I loved my time in college.I have great memories & would love to reconnect with the people I've lost touch with.As well as get together with the ones I haven't seen in a while but email & speak to.

Living many miles from the place where my high school and college reunions are held, I combine the trip to the Reunions with a nostalgic visit to my home, from many years ago.
Went to my high school 35th Reunion...loved it. Went to my college 35th Reunion...loved it.
I'm looking forward to attending my College 50th Reunion in June of 2018. I don't attend to "check out" anyone...just to renew friendships. I'm on FB with many of my High school and college friends.
