Does anyone have any suggestions for food gift baskets. I want to spend about $200 but they do not drink so I just need food (mostly sweets) and no wine. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I posted this on Among Friends too but I’m getting desperate!

I like Stonewall Kitchen.  You can go on the website and just pick "Gift Baskets".  I usually get my brother and sister in law one and sometimes buy one for myself if I want the basket that it comes in, LOL!   They have a lot to choose from and their products are wonderful.

My suggestion would be to buy a handmade Amish basket and fill it with goodies.

I have several of these baskets, including picnic baskets.  The quality is superb and the baskets last forever....heirloom pieces.    You and your recipient will not be disappointed.

They offer several types of baskets....there are many to choose from.  The baskets would make a wonderful wedding gifts too. Check out their website, and read the reviews.

@Baylie ...if you go the basket route to put your food items in go thru antique shops there are a lot of Lonaberger baskets for sale in the malls - you could line it with a pretty towel as well.

How about whole cashews - a bag of good coffee, or flavored coffee if they like that.  Candy coated apples or chocolate dipped pretzels.

I am assuming you do not need to mail the gift.

@Baylie

I will suggest some things I would be pleased to receive in a gift basket...

Alouette cheese

Peptidge Farm crackers

grapes

plums

cookies (preferably gluten free but any would be great)

The alouette cheese is white...it is a spread and I believe it is goat cheese

prederves would be nice to go along with everything

summer sausage

Harry & David have nice baskets.  So do Di Bruno Bros.  which is Italian specialities from south Philly.  They have their own website plus they sell here on the Q.

I know there are a lot of other food gift baskets particularly this time of year and you'll find lots of specials.  Last year I purchased a few pretzel gift baskets from Eastern Standard Provisions.

There is also a local shop near me which specializes in gourmet olive oil & flavored vinegars.  I plan on picking up a few things from them for gifts this year.  They are called "The Tubby Olive" and they ship.

I just can't think of others off of the top of my head right now.  Maybe someone else might come along for some suggestions.

I forgot to add that I need a basket to be delivered so I can’t fill it myself.

I made a basket with gourmet coffee, jams, fancy scones (or English muffins), cookies, cashews, and dark chocolate. I skipped the fruit because it can go bad quickly. They are fun to create.
