Also a fan of Target. Pretty pleased all around except when just couple of lanes open and grocery customer ahead. That's one reason I avoid Walmart. Funny(frustrating) experience to relay. After clerk asked if I found everything I relayed that I couldn't find something in particular, she went on with out pursuing to assist. In other words, she knew the schpiel but didn't understand what to do with the answer. I did relay info to manager.

I love Target! The Targets here have better prices than Walmart. The stores are clean, well stocked and I never wait in a line. Their Soap & Glory skincare line is great. I recently replied to a survey about Target stores. The questions were about adding departments to the front end of the store such as dry cleaners, shipping packages, hair salon, nail salon etc. I hope they don't try to turn into a Walmart one stop shopping experience.

Retail is in such dire straits that even stores like Target, where there have been some successes, feel the need to make changes. Whether this will turn out well for them is unknown. Sometimes, retailers make changes that alienate their most devoted customers while not bringing in any new customers. Time will tell how this turns out.
