@Goodie2shoes

OK, you vented about your auto issue (glad you found a new shop), so can I vent about mine?  I HAVEN'T HAD MY NEW LINCOLN SINCE APRIL 8TH.

Current year parts are an issue for body shops (sigh).

I was referring to the milage being only 97,000 since the car is almost 12 yrs old. That's low milage for a car that old is what I'm told. I was saying it hasn't been on long trips that might have been part of the problem, alot of wearing out on the motor and other parts.

@Goodie2shoes I agree that you have a lot of life in your Equinox. Ours is a 2015 and has 56,000 miles. We stopped taking it to the dealership for service. Now we take it to a local garage because it's so convenient, and the owner has a great reputation. I asked him if it will make it to 100,000 miles and he said more like 200,000! So often, I think it would be nice to have a new vehicle, but we're not out to impress others. It even has a CD player, which is so obsolete. Safe travels! Stay away from those jiffy change places.
