I believe this is the first time we have had a Tornado here that has left so much destruction in my 74 yrs on the earth.  5 people died unfortunately and it's been confirmed that the dept that was suppose to set off the alarm warning of a Tornado did not do their job. Apparently they were in another building having a meeting and the head of the dept has been put on LOA.  The new mayor has promised to deal with that issue ! The warning notification system has now been fixed

The good news is that so so many people have come out to help with cleanup, electric companies from several states have restored most of the power and continue to work on it.  Restaurants and other volunteers are helping to feed those left with no homes, churches that are not destroyed have opened their doors to house people.

FEMA has boots on the ground to assess the damage and will submit a request for funds to help restore the areas affected. The governor has come to assess the damage and talk to the people and is working with the mayor to help restore the affected areas. TV stations are collected donations to help. The destruction is massive !

It's just so wonderful to see how people are coming together to help those who have lost everyting they worked for over years and years. Please keep the prayers coming .
