Does anyone have any experience returning items to TJ Maxx that are way out from the 30 day return policy?

I understand if it is after 30 days, WITH RECEIPT, you will receive a store credit only.

My question, how far out will they still honor a store credit?  I puchased some items on 4/3/25 so I am way, way out.

Due to circumstances, it was impossible to get them returned sooner.

I would check their return policy on their website. I think there may be slightly different restrictions depending on if something was purchased online or in a store.

@Etoile308  I checked the return policy but it does say how far out you can get your store credit with receipt.

Hopefully, they will let me do it.

Things change, so who knows, but they used to be very accommodating and it's worth a try. You probably won't get a refund, but I suspect you might still get store credit.

If the tags are attached and you don't have a receipt, they wouldn't know how long ago you purchased it I would imagine. So store credit would be the result.
