@2blonde  I bought a "silent ring tone" for my iPhone.  My phone only rings out loud if it's from someone in my designated contact list.  Otherwise, I don't hear it ring.  

When I check, and see that I've gotten a spam call, I then block it.  That was the best $1.25 I've ever spent, lol.

I've watched most of the presentation video, but just couldn't pay attention through all of it.

Does anyone know, when a blocked caller tries calling, what do they get at their end?  won't connect, a recording saying they're blocked, etc?

We only got one call yesterday in total which is wonderful, but it just made me wonder when a blocked caller calls, on their end what happens?

Anyone know?

I recently bought a new set of Panasonic cordless phones and it has the call block button.  Yesterday evening my phone rang once and the screen said:  "blocked call."  That same number called me every hour for the next 4-5 hours and each time it was blocked after one short ring.  It even announces the caller, such as "out of area" or "invalid number."

I love my new phones.

@gidgetgh, and everyone,

 Checked the tracking this morning and it is due to arrive today! Yesterday I got 19 calls on my landline and just about the same on my cell.

@gidgetgh  I have a different call blocker and it just disconnects the call, no recording, only a slight click like someone hung up the phone.  I only know because somehow I blocked my own cell phone number so it wouldn't let me connect with our landline at home.  I took it off the blocked list - ha.

@cotton4me- thanks!  So far, this call blocker has been a wonderful thing. We love having a landline and are on the do not call list, which is worthless, but the junk calls were really getting out of hand.

I had to google the phone instructions to figure out how to delete numbers.  I used to have a Panasonic but it only blocked 30 numbers at a time so I got an att phone w 1000 spots.

I read reviews that said it won't work right if you have a filter on the phone line (for internet noise) so I didn't order it.  Glad I read it before wasting the time and effort.
