Will have to try this since I only have canned pumpkin....and a spice cake mix. Do you add any topping or frosting?

Have never even seen lemon pie filling...is this like lemon pudding mix?

You certainly can add something like a cream cheese frosting if you like.  Since this was originally a Weight Watchers recipe, I eat it without frosting to keep the calories down.  My friend sprinkles powdered sugar on top, but again, that adds calories.

@lovesrecess   It is in the cake mix/pie filling section.  Very good - like lemon curd.  I make a pound cake and spread this in the middle.  Any leftovers can just be put into dessert dishes and topped with whipped cream, if desired.

That looks good but I have never seen that at my grocery stores...just fruit pie fillings. Will have to look for it; I can think of lots of uses.

Follow cake mix baking instructions ...

Once I saved a few tablespoons of pie filling to mix
With frosting ingredients .. super lemony
