@LuvSoCal

Thanks for understanding. ❤️. I was hoping for a discount too lol.  I didn't hear from the dealership today.  I have had a million places to go today too, but they have both numbers.  I'll definitely post an update to what happens.  I won't pay for the correct sensor to be put in again though.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying.  I think what he meant was that at dealerships the mechanics often only work 15 minutes at a time on multiple vehicles, kinda in a circle, so they can charge for maximum hours.  At least I think that's what he was meaning lol.

@cheriere   When you take your car back in to have the passenger sensor replaced, see how long it takes them to replace it.  If it is less time than originally charged for labor demand a refund for that amount of labor.  You should only have to pay for the amount of time it takes them to replace the one they were supposed to.

Thank you for that idea.😃❤️

I honestly didn't think about doing that either.

@cheriere,
You have that promise in writing?? I tend to be like you and hate to make a scene, but you need to let a "higher up" know. Or Lincoln corporate, or someone at your local TV station who helps consumers. Good luck. Unfortunately, this can be common among us women.

No, I didn't even think to get it in writing.  However, I do have the work order copy with what was done.  I really hope it doesn't turn that bad sour.  Ugh.

@cheriere id think since youve already paid for the part and labor, you wouldnt have to pay again since they fixed tge wring one. Look into that.

That's what the manager said they'd do.  They haven't called about getting the correct part today though.  I hope it goes as promised.

Your Dad was right!

A quick story, I couldn't sleep one night, so I walked outside and my neighbor across the street's almost new truck which was parked under his carport, literally burst into flames!

I banged on his door until he finally woke up and the fire dept. arrived.

He was told that it was an electrical fire. with damage done to the truck and his house, since it was an attached carport.

I wondered if that's why I couldn't sleep that night, sensing imminent danger.

Glad you listened to Dad!Heart

I'm so glad you shared this with me.  Thank you 😃❤️

At first, I thought maybe he just being a worry wart because he's the type of man who leaves nothing to chance.

Even though our garage is separate, attached by a breezeway, it would probably catch everything on fire.

I would've thrown a bigger one than I did, but my mom was with me and I think I embarrassed her.  The fact that they saw her with me in an arm cast just made me angrier too.

@cheriere There is nothing worse than sitting at a car repair shop for hours and then they replace the wrong thing. If they have charged you for labor then they should wave the charge when they replace the correct part. Woman Frustrated

They promised I wouldn't be charged for the correct part and labor once they get it in.  I pray they keep their word.  I'm taking dad with me next time too.❤️

@cheriere I'm sure they will keep their word. On a good note, you will get to keep the new part they replaced in error on the other door Woman Happy
