Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask this question. But I'm wondering if there is a way to block specific posters messages? I have serious problems w/ gifs that have movement and there are a few posters who have screen names that move about. I can't avoid seeing them when they are responding to a post they didn't start. (I do avoid going into messages where I can). Thanks in advance if you know, one way or other.

@Kachina624

Thanks. That's what I figured, but thought I would check w/ others.

In the past we did have an 'Ignore User' option, but it was dropped with the major forum changes made years ago.

I miss it too.

Re: Blocking posters an option?

@kate2357  Some years ago it was possible to block a poster but when they redid the system that option "went away."

That's right ... we had an ignore. Thanks for the memory jog. I'll survive w/o. But it would be nice to be able to escape things that can trigger vertigo. Thanks for info.

@kate2357   I so agree with you. There's one in particular with a fish swimming that will give me a migraine if I watch it.  Wish we could ignore or block these posters.

Even if you could block posters, you would stll see their screen names and the animated avatars.

@kate2357 Just curious but what is the serious problem?
