NYC and surroundings:

Forecast - starting this afternon and continuing into tomorrow.

7 - 14 inches of snow

winds up to 45 mph

When I saw the forecast yesterday -

• Got my act together and did all the outside stuff I needed to do.
  
  
• Cancelled my outdoor lunch date for Thursday!  (That guy in Albany closed indoor dining again)

I shall fill my bathtub with water in case we lose electricity and therefore our plumbing. I hope we will not lose our heat, although I have a wood-burning stove to keep us warm by burning logs. I am frankly too tired to deal with unexpected film detections. I just hope the next two months will be kind.

One adantage of living here (apt complex) is that there's a ground crew the clears paths.  And - I don't have to be anywhere until Saturday afternoon.

So, I'm hibernating with my crochet hooks, knitting needles, books and food!

I have no back up heating here ,worry over losing heat.

Which we will have the inches of snow.  But unfortunately....ours will be ice.
