@dex   I don't remember pic and save. There is always something I find there.  I do need some plastic storage containers which are things I usually buy on their 20% off sales - it seems I can always use those (Rubbermaid or Sterlite) to try to get more organized.  Then I wander the aisles and see other stuff.  Last sale I bought a DVD of the film The Artist dirt cheap.  

So there is always something......

@Pearlee@Yes there is always something at big lots.I have never heard of odd lots...sounds funny.Pic and Save was a very low priced outlet store that had some interesting items from high end stores.You never knew what was going to be there so you had to go regularly.I still have many items I purchased more than ten years ago and love them.They had quality.

I liked it better when it was Pick 'n Save. I like Big lots, but the prices are not cheap anymore.

I went today to the one nearest me, which isn't my favorite.  I may go to another one tomorrow if I have time.  Each store has a slightly different selection.

I'm glad I went.  I bought some staple products I used in the food department (they have a very good and cheap - even cheaper with 20% off - Splenda substitute I use so I got a couple of bags of those and some other stuff like that.  A few things like plain envelopes, etc.  Basic stuff, nothing too exciting.  Some paper plates and plastic silverware since it's getting warm here and ice packs for my coolers.  Again, nothing exciting but I'm glad I went to get stuff I'll be using even cheaper.  I do like to browse through their foodstuffs.

I didn't know there was a Big Lots Card.  Haven't been to one since they became Big Lots.  I had fun getting some gag gifts when the store was called Pic n Save.

Big Lots is our favorite store for getting items that are not costing a arm and a leg. Part of this family have already made 3 trips over to our local store and are very pleased with with what they purchased. In fact another scoot over there is in talks. Our store has a lot of things to look at and buy its clean, well organized and actually fun to shop in. Plus the fact that it is not even two miles from our homes.
