I read every post, thanks for the responses.  I don't feel that I overreacted, I have ordered these Keto chocolate cups many times and throughout the year and never had a problem. My order comes to the door and Amazon takes a picture of the delivery. I don't feel there is an excuse for this happening. I contacted Fedx and filed a complaint. I called Amazon before I called Fedx yesterday and they told me to contact Fedx and did not offer a replacement. I called Amazon again this morning and they are replacing my order.  HSN also sells these Keto Chocolates and I have ordered from them in the past and I do remember after it gets summertime they don't ship because of the heat. Never had Amazon to have that policy.

Yeah, a lot is talked about overreacting but just blink your eyes wrongly and all the karens come out of the wood work.  I get that all the time.  Oh you're overreacing but when the shoe is on the other foot it's because the moon wasn't made out of cheese or whatever.  LOL!!!!

I don't blame you one bit and I don't think you overreacted at all.

I've had nothing but problems with fed x and even Amazon can't control deliveries from that company. It is so disappointing that the drivers cannot follow instructions. I live in a large complex and my building has a doorbell for each unit. It works well and none of the other delivery services have a problem.  I won't use FedX as they have left packages for myself and others at a leasing office a block and a half away. The office is not an official mail office and when things are left, the workers try to bring packages inside when they close at night but the office doesn't notify the tenant when packages arrive. It seems to matter where you live as to whether you can get a decent delivery, but you can't where I live.

I'd like to see those who complain about the delivery driver do their job for a day. They'd go home exhaused and in crying like a baby.

There are rules for deliveries and standing around til you get to the door isn't one of them unless YOU paid extra for a required signature or some kind of special delivery option. You could go to FedEx/UPS.com to see if you can add a delivery option.

I usually avoid ordering fragile/frozen food when it's very hot. However, I just ordered from Omaha Steaks and paid $2.99 for delivery/quality/frozen insurance because temps will be 90+ degrees on the day of delivery. 

I have accounts set up at FedEx and UPS so they notify me the day of delivery - they give a timeframe and notify me if it changes. It's my responsiblity to be around to bring in the package right away if it's frozen/fragile to weather.

If the chocolate cups were okay then you won't get a replacement.

Last summer, I had some candles delivered upside down with a big arrow on the box clearly stating "this side up" when it was over 100 degrees. I got them off the porch as soon as they arrived but they were already melted and had soaked the box with wax....clearly visible from the outside. No telling how long they had been riding around in the back of a hot truck with no a/c. I did get a replacement for all six candles. Tthis was UPS.
