I look for Egyptian cotton snd around 400 thread count. I like Macy’s damask stripe- usually nicely priced. I did feel some Sams club sheets and feel was good. Haven’t tried.

Wow! Dry clean your sheets? How many sets of sheets do you need to do this & how often? Dry cleaning is expensive. Plus all those dry cleaning chemicals you are sleeping on every night. Doesn't sound good. Sheet snob? Uninformed consumer.

I'm in the minority, but I love limp sheets.  Sometimes I find them being sold on long tables at gas stations. I've also had luck with some Concierge sheets sold through HSN.

For the cold weather, brand doesn't matter to me, but I love the warmth of flannel.
