I like 400 thread count cotton sateen sheets. Please do a Google search "The difference between sateen and cotton thread counts in sheets".

I like 100% cotton 400 thread count sheets from Cuddledown. They're expensive, but I've used the same two sets of sheets from them for about ten years, and they're still in perfect condition.
@NickNack I totally agree. Definitely no microfiber. I bought a set of microfiber sheets and they are hot!!!
And they stain! Don't even drool on them!

I'm trying to find sheets that cost $100 or less.
Spending 3 or $400 or more on sheets, well, it had better come with someone to tuck me in at night.
I have bought targets performance cotton sheets, pretty pleased with them.

Wow! Dry clean your sheets? How many sets of sheets do you need to do this & how often? Dry cleaning is expensive. Plus all those dry cleaning chemicals you are sleeping on every night. Doesn't sound good. Sheet snob? Uninformed consumer.

@RedTop wrote:The sheets on our bed right now are QVC Northern Nights supima cotton, 1000 thread count. I like them very much, and have 2 sets. Percale is also a favorite.
Shoekitty said, I have those, they ate nice. The are heavier, but great here in california for fall and winter. I dont use flannel . Always cotton. I like crispy sheets too. But I digress. The supima are extra special in my mind, because supima is grown in USA

I'm in the minority, but I love limp sheets. Sometimes I find them being sold on long tables at gas stations. I've also had luck with some Concierge sheets sold through HSN.

For the cold weather, brand doesn't matter to me, but I love the warmth of flannel.
